Four Boys

Four boys were born long ago.
Now, all four are men.

The youngest calls a foreign land his home.
Ever searching for an escape.

The next spends his days dreaming of what could be.
At night, he wonders why his dreams never come true.

The middle one relentlessly searches for the truth.
Missing it, every chance he gets.

The oldest lives as though his youth never passed.
In the morning, his body tells him otherwise.

Four boys were born long ago.
Now all men, they are lost.

  1. The trials and tribulations of people going through life. One day they may find themselves! A nice read!
